On other visits to Memphis I had gone through the Memphis Music and Blues Museum. They had an amazing collection of items on display. I learned more about blues from going through their museum than I had in my entire life. Some great information about obscure blues artists from the past. There were video presentations as well.    A dumpster! I couldn't believe it. It was gone ... gutted ... out of business. Say it ain't so. The only good news is that it might have just changed locations. I certainly hope so. There was a guy from the old group "Canned Heat" that was running the place. We played together back on December 27, 1968 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Actually, we did a number of dates together. What a wild deal running in to him. If you are a blues enthusiast, definitely look it up (if it's still in existence) and go there. They've got some cool instruments for sale, too.
