Friday, October 9th, 1992 Leaving Okinawa on a C141 transport, enroute to Anderson Air Force base in Guam. Okinawa is 16 hours ahead of California's time. We flew East one time zone to Guam. It should be 15 hours ahead of California time, right? WRONG! It's 17 hours ahead, considering the International Date Line.
