Below: Me in the control room, with a view into the studio. It was an "L" shaped room. Behind me is the hallway door, leading to the bathroom that was used for a room mic on the song "Liar." A microphone aimed right into the camode, down the hall and around the corner. A very bouncy surface, 5 takes of the toilet mic and one take of the studio mic that Danny sang directly into. Lots of fun, this creative micing routine. I believe it was Danny's idea, with some collaboration by Richie and Cooper. |
